Parents Not Happy With T.I. School Visit

Out of jail and doing community service, Clifford "T.I." Harris made a trip to Woodland Middle School in Henry County on March 5, an unwanted surprise for one family.
Tom Myers was surprised when his daughter came home and told him that T.I. had been the speaker at the assembly on anti bullying. Myers told 11Alive News that had he known T.I. was speaking, he would not have allowed his daughter to attend. So he wrote an e-mail to Woodland's principal, Dr. Terry Oatts.
"The first e-mail I sent to him was to ask that from now on we have some kind of parental input whether or not a speaker is appropriate. If I don't want my child to be there, just give me the right to opt them out," Myers said.
Myers also wrote in the e-mail, "How about next time, let him mow the grass or pick up the trash around the school grounds? If the kids see that they might understand that what he did was wrong."
In e-mails obtained by 11Alive News, Oatts replied in his e-mail, "I thought about asking a guy who snorted cocaine and got arrested for DUI when he was 30 to come and speak to our kids, but President George W. Bush was not available."
Oatts went on to write in the exchanges with Myers that even the president made mistakes when he was young, and that T.I.'s messages to the students was 'to take their education seriously, put forth their best effort, pursue their dreams and not engage in bullying.'
But the bottom line, to Tom and Candi Myers, is that they didn't want their daughter to be at that assembly. School officials say parents were notified of the assembly but that T.I. was a surprise guest.
Myers admits T.I. encouraged the kids to study and work hard, but he's not convinced.
"T.I.'s an actor and he can sit down and act with the best of them. He's an entertainer. That's what he does," Myers said.

Wayne's Working Behind Bars (Louisiana)

Being holed-up at Rikers Island, Lil Wayne certainly has a lot of time on his hands. Yet apparently, when he's not writing letters to fans and communicating through his new website, the superstar recording artist has a new mandatory job: suicide watch for other prisoners. This bizarre news, published in today's US Weekly, comes from Antonia "Toya" Johnson, one of Wayne's longtime baby mamas.

"Wayne has a job," Johnson said. "They got him on suicide watch for other prisoners. He watches the crazy prisoners and makes sure they don't kill themselves. He likes the job even though they don't pay him much." We're pretty sure this is a job for a qualified professionals, but either way Johnson offered another confirmation that Wayne is doing fine and serving out his sentence in relative peace. "He is getting along with everybody," she claimed.

On another positive note, Johnson revealed that Wayne was indeed able to keep his trademark long hair. This is kind of great news, because it means those scary bald Wayne rumors aren't come true.

It's My Party (maybe not): Chris Brown May Not Find B-Day Venue (Virginia)

Chris Brown is reportedly facing problem in finding a suitable venue to celebrate his 21st birthday.

According to sources, Brown has been looking for places like clubs in New York, Miami and Las Vegas.

However, all venue holders and promoters are apparently afraid to book their place for the singer, as they don’t want to spoil their ‘potential’ relationship with Brown’s ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

"They don't want to mess up their relationship, or their potential relationship, with Rihanna," the New York Post quoted a source as saying.

Brown is now said to be looking for private homes or restaurants in Manhattan.

Police Looking For Louisiana Man Who Has Been Knowingly Spreading HIV To Women For Almost FIFTEEN YEARS!!! (Louisiana & Texas)

SMH. Be on the lookout for this evil a*s muhfugga… Police say he’s allegedly been spreading HIV as far back as 1996. Pop the hood for more details.

Shreveport Police are looking for a man they say may have knowingly spread the HIV virus to an unknown number of people.

Detectives have an arrest warrant out for 36-year-old Quacy L. Francis for knowingly exposing people to the HIV virus. Police say his potential victims could date back as far as 1996.

Shreveport Detectives want anyone who may have been exposed or knows someone who may have been exposed to Francis to contact the detectives office at 673-6955.

Quacy Francis has gone by several alias throughout the years including: Quacy Frances, Lekelvin Francis, Quacie Francis, Terry Johnson, Dion Scott, and Eric Scott.

Anyone who contacts the police regarding their possible exposure, should rest assured that the police department will protect their confidentially and are only seeking information to aid in the prosecution of Francis.

One of our faithful BOSSIP readers wrote in to tell us about Quacy as well. They say there is nothing alleged about this story — Francis has knowingly been spreading the HIV virus since 1996, when he discovered he was HIV positive after impregnating a young woman with his 3rd child. Since then he has allegedly fathered at least 8 children by 8 different women in both Louisiana and Texas. His family (mom and 2 sisters) allegedly also knew about him spreading the disease and said/did nothing! According to our source he even gave it to his younger sister’s best friend!

This evil a*s muhfugga needs to be on the first available express train to HELL! SMH!

Teen Arrested For Waka Flocka Concert Shooting (Georgia)

An Indiana teenager has been arrested and charged as a prime suspect in the shooting that took place following a Waka Flocka Flame concert in Gary, Indiana on March 5.

17-year-old Devontius Hutcherson is being charged for his role in the late night shooting, where eight teenage boys were wounded. Victims described a man wearing a red hat over dreadlocks that opened fire on a crowd of approximately 200 teens in the parking lot of the World of Skates rink in Gary. Eight victims -- who ranged in age from 14 to 18 -- were treated for non life-threatening gunshot wounds to the legs, stomach, wrist and back. Police officials have allegedly confiscated the weapon that was fired outside the skating rink and have explained that Hutcherson will face multiple felony charges from a prior shooting incident as well.

Hutcherson is being investigated for shooting and killing a 22-year-old man and wounding another, after they refused to provide him with $5 to attend a concert on Jan 19. He reportedly robbed both victims before shooting them. Hutcherson is currently being held without bail while police investigate all current

Lloyd Signs W/ Interscope Records (Georgia)

Former Murder Inc. recording artist Lloyd has opted out of a possible Young Money record deal and signed a contract with Interscope Records.

According to the singer, Cash Money/Young Money were the initial front runners.

"Baby and Wayne were definitely the first people to reach out to me," he revealed in an interview. "I talked to them about a deal. That's who I thought I'd end up with in my heart. The problem is that Young Money/Cash Money is exclusive to Universal Motown. As you and I know, that's where I did my last two albums. I wasn't excited about going back. I tried to do a Young Money/Cash Money deal through another distributor, but it couldn't be done. At the end of the day, I'm still family, though." (MTV)

Last December, Lloyd killed rumors that he was already signed to Young Money.

"A lot of people think I'm already signed over there, but the truth is that I'm still a free agent and I haven't signed with Young Money/Cash Money," he said in an interview. "I don't want to get into specifics, but I have been talking to them and to some other labels. It's an important decision and we're not gonna rush it. We're both working, but not on anything specifically together. He has The Rebirth and The Carter 4, and I'm working on my new album and a couple mixtapes. There were rumors about us doing a project together a few years back, but that was just wishful thinking by the fans." (New Lil Wayne)

The singer addressed rumors of leaving Murder Inc. for Wayne's Young Money last year.

"I think that's the question on everyone's mind," Lloyd said about the possibility of signing to Young Money. "No, I wasn't offered a deal, uhm, if anything I think about it because I'm big fans of their work and we all good friends. We've worked [together on songs] a lot in the past, you know, we broke bread together and I think a lot of fans would probably want to see that happen. I just wanna win, I just wanna be successful. I think wherever I go, I'm gonna be successful." ("Jenny Boom Boom TV")

Lloyd said his recent collaborations with Wayne and Drake have helped him keep his name relevant.

"I mean, it's not hard, you just gotta work," Lloyd explained in an interview. "The way I stay relevant is to make more music. There's so many different avenues to get music out now that it's pretty rare for you to make a song and not be heard one way or another and by working with other artists, that plays a big part. So when I'm not on the scene or I'm going through label problems and you give me a Drake mixtape, it kinda reminds you of who I am." (Rolling Out TV)

Auto-Tune king T-Pain has produced an animated homage to 1990's Atlanta Spring Break fiesta Freaknik, which is scheduled to air on the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim on March 7. The one-hour special, 'Freaknik: The Musical,' took Pain two years to create, and features vocal appearances by Lil Wayne (playing Jesus), Snoop Dogg, Keri Hilson, Kelis, Big Boi, Rick Ross, George Clinton and Bootsy Collins. Saturday Night Live comedians Andy Samberg and Bill Hader also round out the bill. T-Pain also voices "a party ghost." 'Freaknik' focuses on a group of students hoping to revive the party, which at one point attracted more than 250,000 people, until it was shut down in the late 90's. Part 3 of 3

Timbaland to Cameo in FlashForward Episode (Virginia)

Well-known rapper and record producer Timbaland -- also known as Tim Mosley (to the IRS and to his mom) -- is making his prime time TV debut.

Though the prolific artist has had his music showcased on several series -- including "The Wire," "Gilmore Girls," "Entourage" and "So You Think You Can Dance" -- he hasn't done much acting. But that could be changing as reliable sources tell me Timbaland will cameo in the second "FlashForward" episode to air this year.

Word is, the cameo is very quick. Like Seth MacFarlane quick. But you will see Timbaland... if you're watching out for him.

So what do you think? Should Timbaland try his hand at a new career?

"FlashForward" returns Thursday, Mar. 18th at 8 p.m. on ABC
